Since there is big story going right now in the domain world that involves Snapnames.com Versus Nelson “Halvarez” Brady I wanted to write a short post regarding this issue that is affecting my name that happens to be Nelson Alvarez.

I have been receiving a lot of visitors to this website and emails asking me if there is a link between me and Nelson Brady because it seems that Nelson Brady did not acted alone. While I have not taken the time to read all the stories that can be found just in every domain forums or blogs I might be unaware of many facts that are known or still to be uncover in the future I wanted to make it clear to everyone visiting this site that  this situation has been a suprise to me and I did not know of many people are following any new information regarding this case.

My name is Nelson Alvarez, I am also a domainer that visit many places where domains are bought and sold. My portfolio consists mainly of Spanish names and a few hundreds in English. This is my first time that I know of Nelson Brady also known as user “Halvarez”. Also I do not own any of the domains in question and I don’t recall bidding on any of these domains.

Please be patient and let the persons in charge of this situation sort everything out before making any false assumptions or associating  my name. I do wonder why Nelson Brady decided to create a user name Halvarez, I position is that maybe heard of me and thought that it could be more credible when bidding for names. I buy domains on auctions, but I have never use Nelson or Alvarez.
